You have to teach and reinforce everyday preventive measures. Children tend to emulate parents therefore be a role model by making sure you wash your hands more often. It’s also important to explain the importance of handwashing and intact to make it a family routine.

Step 2: Apply enough soap to cover wet hands

Wearing masks prevents an uncovered cough or sneeze. However, children below 2 years are not supposed to wear a mask because if breathing becomes difficult they may not be able to remove the mask.

It is important to ensure the mask does not pose a choking hazard or suffocation to children so that their breathing is not obstructed.

Our children need to be as safe as possible. Keep them at home because you cannot control how they play with their mates.

Our children, our responsibility.
