COVID19, Opportunity To Better Lives
I am not sure whether patience is a skill or not. What is certain is that I'm getting better at it. In the past, I would flip everything when my laptop failed to respond promptly, but nowadays I’m just okay and would wait for as long as it takes.
“There are no problems only opportunities for growth” is a quote that resonates with the current world situation. Indeed most things are on hold as a result of various containment policies.
While spending most of the hours indoors come with its fair share of challenges, some people are turning it into an opportunity for growth.
Talking to my friends over the weekend, I was amazed a great deal on how they are perfecting on life skills. One intimated to us how his wife is a pro in Swahili dishes, and currently taking orders for mahamri and other dishes via an online platform.
Recent online research indicates a rise in great internet content creation. Gone are the days you had one or two favorite comedians, nowadays with a simple login to Instagram, you can watch several rib-cracking contents. Many people are discovering hidden talents and perfecting skills during the pandemic.

After all, the COVID19 pandemic is proof enough that we do not need to hurry. Sometimes we only need to flow along. And that’s okay.
So if you are the whining type, please stop and align with the new normal. Read that book, take up that online course. And finally, love more because in the end, that’s what matters the most.
