On Wednesday, Akothee put on a show in parliament after showing up in what can be defined as “skimpy dress code”. The successful entrepreneur had accompanied Mp David Sankok putting on a lime green short skirt and a coat. The oyoyo hit maker told them what she thought was the problem. That it was not her skirt that was short but it’s her legs that are longer than the skirt.
She was blocked by the parliament security from accessing the members’ restaurant. The flamboyant singer was offered a lesso which she rejected at first. She later accepted to cover herself through the help of Rachel Nyamai Mp Kitui South and Soipan Tunya women representative Narok County.
“It is my legs that are longer than the skirt, trust me. I thought I was officially dressed until I was ‘lessod’.”
The controversial business woman in her post shared her experience and also added that she’d invited the members of parliament to the launch of Akothee foundation. “I have invited the members of parliament to come join me in the official launch of Akothee foundation on 28th September. I can’t make a change in Turkana or the lives of people alone. I need everyone’s support. Thanks a lot waheshimiwa as I wait to see and to shake your hands, next time I will come with a trouser” she shared. However, Mp David Sankok didn’t see the”bad” in the singer’s dressing code.
